The Gene Lucas Community Center and McLean Campus
The Gene Lucas Community Center and the McLean Campus were completed in 2020. This endeavor was a dream of the Foundation for over a decade. Giving to the Eel River Valley has been the mission of the McLean Foundation with this building and campus being the largest gift ever. The campus hosts 2 buildings; a 23,000 square foot Community Center that offers office space to multiple nonprofits, a commercial kitchen, classrooms and rental spaces and a 16,000 square foot building home to the Humboldt Senior Resource Center. Both buildings reside on 30 acres surrounded by wetland ponds and walking trails. http://glccenter.org

The Foundation was instrumental in the financing and fundraising for this state of the art health clinic that serves the people of the ERV. With a donation of $2 million and another $3 million generously supported by the community, this facility will serve the region for generations.
